Have you been looking for an opportunity to volunteer in your community, or even participate in local community events?
United Way will be hosting many events and volunteer opportunities for each of our four counties this year. The counties in which we serve are Chenango, Delaware, Otsego and Madison. We want each community member to play a role in the stability of community Income, Health, and Education. What better way than by being part of community events.
Our first upcoming event will take place in May of 2024. Our Annual Golf Tournament, which will happen at the Oneonta Country Club! This is one of our biggest events of the year, and we are in hopes of getting community members from each county involved. How can you help? Join a team, bring 3 individuals and create your own team. There will be food, prizes, and fun involved! Come out and support your community!
Second event will be DAY OF CARING! This will take place in June of 2024 this is a project that is in the works and will later be announced for the activities that will take place! Note we need Each and every one of our communities to help bring this day together.
We will wrap up our events before campaign in August with our newly formed Annual Cornhole Tournament that will take place in Chenango County! Further details will be released as we move closer to the date! But we can say that this event is a hit and who doesn't want a little competition!
